Every answer has the same four parts, in the same order.
1The summary
One or two sentences naming the headline figure and anything unusual in the data. Read this first; it often contains the answer on its own.
2The grid
A sortable table showing about 25 rows at a time. Click a column header to sort. Use Export for the full result set — the grid is paged, the export is not.
3The chart
Shown when the shape of the data warrants it: a ranking, a trend over time, or a comparison. Scroll to zoom, drag to pan, and use the expand control for a full-screen view. Charts carry the same figures as the grid, never different ones.
4The working
How the answer was reached: the measure, documents and period it used, the checks the figures passed, the rows behind them and how long it took. This is the audit trail — if a figure is ever questioned, this is what you show.
